Check Your Screen Time: First Step to Content De-addiction

  1. For 7 days, jot down what you’re doing every 60 minutes from waking up to going to bed. Don’t change anything. Just OBSERVE.
  2. In the settings of your android phone, open ‘Digital Wellbeing’ to check screen time. On an ios phone, open ‘Screen Time’.
  3. Note the number of times you picked up the phone, and opened that platform on laptop without any need.
  4. Note the hours you spend after work in front of a screen.
  5. At the end, group your activities into categories (like Work, Eating, Relaxing, Learning, etc.).
  6. Review your log and spot where your time is slipping away.
  7. Decide where you can cut back and where you want to invest more time.
