Meet your Digital Habit Expert
Hi, I’m Aditi Mandal, a digital habit expert with a background in psychology and a decade of experience in UX.
In 2017, I started my digital fitness journey and reduced my screen time from 6 to an intentional 1 hour per day.
Now, I’m helping people like you build a healthier relationship with technology through simple, sustainable micro digital habits.
Watch this quick intro to see how the community works.
The transformation you can expect:
Get back small pockets of time for upskilling, reading, exercise and creative work.
Beat procrastination and finish your to-dos.
Sleep on time and well. Wake up fresh.
Break the autopilot mode of reaching for your phone.
Feel calmer, clearer, and more energetic throughout the day.
Be more present with your loved ones.
3 elements that make it work
You get weekly nudges, designed by digital habit expert Aditi Mandal. She prompts you to share your check-ins and answers your questions. These nudges shift you from unconscious to conscious phone usage. You experience its compounding effect over time.
Week one, you do the nudge. It feels too small to matter. But with daily practice, you start noticing the automatic phone pickup, the brain rot content, the doomscroll. And once you start noticing, the doomscroll stops at 30 minutes, you read a page before sleep, you keep your phone aside while talking to your partner. This awareness and action compound over time, and your screen time reduces.
You think only you have issues with phone overuse. But when you get to know others’ similar struggles, it inspires you to change.
Just knowing that real people are in this with you — trying the same small thing, on the same day, and showing up to tell the truth about it, keeps you going. You don’t feel alone anymore.
Why members love the community
Take back your time whatsapp community helped me find more ways to reduce screen time. It also acted as a reminder which is great. Also a community provides motivation and insights.
I was bit skeptical when I joined about small habits bringing much change. But after a month in the community, I have become more conscious when scrolling. The community keeps me accountable.
Real waste of time is all these tiny notifications that accumulate on the phone over a few hours. In an attempt to sort through them, it’s become very easy to get distracted from why the phone was switched on in the first place. I’ve always felt some form of FOMO with these notifications, but scrutinizing them one at a time because of this community has made it easier to see what they are.
I went to meditation class this morning and left the phone at home . So I was walking 15 min roughly without any engagements. Than I was cleaning my yoga chairs , doing house work without music , just being locked into my head. Thank you for these prompts to be with myself.
Big change rarely starts big.
Small nudges are easier to repeat, repetition builds consistency, and consistency builds habit.

Once you sign up, Aditi will review your application and your LinkedIn or Instagram profile. Then DM you the group invite on WhatsApp within 3 days.
The nudge can be a micro-habit, a change in digital environment, a digital habit audit or an insight. They’re designed to fit into your existing routine. You don’t need to carve out extra time. One week’s micro habit might be “15-minute void” — pick one daily activity you already do, like commuting or cooking, and do it for 15 minutes without any screen or audio. Or an audit like post your daily number of phone unlocks
The community is intentionally quiet. You get 1-2 nudges per week. Members share their progress and failures as and when they want to. There are no mandatory check-ins, no daily pings. You won’t need to mute it.
Because every other approach relies on willpower — app blockers, cold turkey, screen time limits. They work for a day, and then you override them. TBYT works differently. The habits are easy enough that you don’t need willpower. And the community gives you accountability, which creates awareness and acceptance of your digital habits. They compound, which eventually builds mindful content consumption.
This isn’t just about screen time numbers. If you feel like your phone is deciding things — when you sleep, when you eat, whether you’re present — that’s what this is for. Members with 3 hours a day have found as much value as those with 8.
Members are working professionals — CEOs, founders, senior executives, therapists, designers, and creators. Parents in their late 30s to 40s — people who are already high-functioning but feel their phone is quietly stealing the hours that should belong to the things that matter most.
Aditi is in the group. She sends the nudges, reads what members share, and responds. It’s a real community with a real person running it.
